Our mission is to help vulnerable populations in third world countrys and help them improve their life style and quality. The most important that must be achieved is access to drinking water for everyone. That is a must and is the first step. Drilling and well experts work hand in hand to find the most suitable solution. Local communities always help and share theire knowledge about possible water sources. The second part is getting everyone a shelter. Although it is often hot enough to sleep outside the weather conditions are not always good and a good and solide shelter is needed. The first step in this procesedure is to construct the best quality short term houses. These will only be used for a short periode of time but can be step up quickly to able everyone to get a good place.
Two other important aspect are food and medicine. Is is important that in addition to non poluted water the population also have access to enough food. Having a variety is also important. This helps agains illnesses if the people have a good diet. These populations often live isolated villages and have very little access to doctors and medical assitance. Therefore it is important to be able to assist them and treat the sick. This is also in order to prevent an epidemic. This is one of the key points and is one of the harder to fufill. We need doctors, nurses and mid wifes, as well as good temporary facility and a lot of medical equipement. All of this is expensive and hard to finance.
An other medical aspect is veterinary health, since most of these people live as farmers it is important that their animals are healthy. They need the cows and horses to be strong to help plow the fields. They of course do not have tractors or any modern farming equipement. Although in some case we try and help finance a tractor or some other farming tools to help them work quicker, get a better production rate and therefore gain more money to feed their families. This is an important aspect, getting the work and helping them become independent again after a natural disaster such as a flood, tsunami, hurricane, mudslide etc or a war or civil war.
Then next step is getting a good schooling system to educate the children. Most of them have only ever helped their parents work, but they need to get this education to later on be able to
